About UDS

The University for Development Studies (UDS), located in Tamale, is Ghana's multi-campus public university renowned for its pro-poor, community-focused training, particularly in Agriculture, Health Sciences (Medicine, Nursing), and Sustainable Development. UDS is unique in its mission to blend academic work with practical community engagement through its Third Trimester Field Practical Programme (TTFPP).

Note: Minimum aggregate is 36 for bachelor's degree programmes. Admission is competitive based on your aggregate score and subject requirements.

Special Rule for Arts/Business Students: You can use your Social Studies grade in place of Integrated Science when calculating aggregate, if Social Studies is better (must still have at least a pass in Int. Science).
