Ghana's Premier Health Sciences University – Training Healthcare Professionals
The University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), located primarily in Ho, is Ghana's premier public university dedicated exclusively to health education, training, and research. UHAS is committed to producing highly skilled professionals across the entire healthcare spectrum, from medicine and dentistry to allied health sciences and public health.
UHAS's Unique Aggregate Calculation: UHAS requires credit passes (A1-C6) in all four Core Subjects (English, Maths, Integrated Science, and Social Studies). However, your final aggregate is calculated using English, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science, and your three (3) best relevant electives. Social Studies is excluded from the final aggregate sum but is still required as a credit pass.
Merging Results: You can combine results from up to two (2) separate sittings (e.g., WASSCE May/June and Nov/Dec) to calculate your final best aggregate.
Minimum Aggregate: 24 for bachelor's degree programmes. Admission is highly competitive based on your aggregate score and subject requirements.
